YBAA Recommended Courtesy Showing Protocol

A few years ago amid questions and controversy regarding courtesy showings, YBAA, at the request of its members, established a simple “protocol” to help define broker responsibilities and duties when a courtesy showing was requested. We thought is a good time to reintroduce it to our members. Definition, Courtesy Showing: A Courtesy Showing is defined as a Selling Broker’s request to a Listing Broker to entertain and accommodate an unaccompanied potential Buyer of the Selling Broker to view a vessel listed by the Listing Broker.
