Intrinsic Yacht & Ship (Intrinsic) is pleased to welcome two new employees to their growing staff. Blake Stephenson has joined the crew as a Yacht Broker and Nicole Esterson will be the Marketing Manager.
Blake, a native of North Carolina grew up on the water, boating, and fishing where he quickly found his passion for yachts. During the summers while he attended Savannah College of Art and Design, he worked as a design and construction intern at Jarrett Bay Boatworks in Beaufort, NC, and at West Marine. He received his degree in Industrial Design and Marine Design and was quickly hired as a yacht designer in Annapolis, MD.
After 3 years as a yacht designer, Blake decided to move into a Yacht Broker role. He says he, “wanted to spend more time with customers and manufacturers throughout the boat buying process and Intrinsic provides the opportunity to sell boats that are very customizable.” With his degree, Blake feels he can really understand the needs of his clients and be sure they are 100% satisfied. “We are excited that Blake joined our team over the summer and has quickly proven himself to be a great asset to our brands, customers, and company,” says Chris Ruggieri, Owner of Intrinsic Yacht & Ship.
In addition to Blake, Intrinsic is pleased to announce that Nicole joins the crew in the new role of Marketing Manager and oversees marketing at all four Intrinsic locations in Florida and Maryland. She brings many years of experience in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service and looks forward to helping Intrinsic grow. “I want to help Intrinsic reach the next level,” says Nicole, “they represent amazing brands and have a great sales and service team in place, I am thrilled to be part of this team.” The addition of a full-time, in-house Marketing Manager allows, “us to capitalize on the year we had in 2020. It was without a doubt our best year in our 20-year history, and we want to make sure that trend continues.”
